White Horse Tavern

Painted to resemble an antique tavern sign, this painting is full of deconstructed edges and nicks and bumps.

There is indeed a White Horse Tavern in Rhode Island (the nation’s oldest bar) and one in New York…and countless others in Europe.

This sign is created purely from my imagination. The style is intentionally primitive.

Oil and cold wax on gallery wrapped canvas.
