The Cavalier
My take on Frans Hal's Laughing Cavalier. I like to think this fox has the same confident manner as the famous Baroque portrait.
18" x 22" oil on board. Framed in a gorgeous antique Eastlake frame. Due to the age of the frame nicks and discolorations are present (I call that character).
